The following events took place during dinner earlier tonight:
-I treated my parents to an incredible rendition of "I'm Proud to be an American" and was then informed by my dad that I have the voice, looks and body to be a rock star.
-I told my mom that her hair looked like a vegetable. Hey, it did.
-The 3 of us had a fiery debate about how to correctly pronounce "equator." EEEEquator? or eQUAtor? After about 10 minutes, we finally agreed that the emphasis is most commonly placed on the second syllable.
