The Rainbow Connection

Today was rather exciting. It took me double the time to change after volleyball. I was very distracted. Why, you ask? Because today was the second day I was graced by the presence of the Rainbow Woman. Ok, enough with that. Changing colors every sentence is like reliving 8th grade... and no one wants to do that. Anyway, the Rainbow Woman. She hangs out in the locker room in the RB at around 12:45 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She sits at the mirror in her rainbow dress. No, seriously, she wears a rainbow dress. She's had it on both times I've seen her this week. It goes down to her ankles. It's hard to miss. She always has tons of hair products and curling irons on the counter infront of her. She styles her hair in grand ways. Today I watched her pull the top half of her hair straight back into an elastic. Then she pinned the hair in the elastic to her head so that she had sort of a fountain look. Super trendy. But the best part was that she had left out two long pieces of hair in the front and let them hang down by the side of her head. This was the part of her styling procedure that had me so entranced. She straightened each strand of hair multiple times to get just the right look. If you're confused by my description, just remember how girls styled their hair in middle school and you'll have it. It was incredible.

Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection. The lovers, the dreamers, and me.
